- Different .ini files can be sepcified using the /f switch.
- You can specify an application to launch from within the ini file by using the L key character.
Program Manager Modifier (PMM) is a utility which allows you to add your own custom menu items to Program Manager or any other Windows shell which has a menu. PMM allows frequently used applications to be quickly launched from the keyboard, without having to cycle and search through PM folders. This is especially useful for those who either prefer not to use a mouse or cannot easily use one, as in the case of some laptops. Even for mouse users, it gives quick access to applications in a seamless fashion, directly from the menu bar.
You use an ASCII text editor (such as NOTEPAD ) to create a PMM.INI file which is then placed in your Windows directory. A sample PMM.INI file is included, which adds Win 3 Utilities and Games to the menu bar.
By default PMM looks for Program Manager; however, if you are using another shell such as the Norton Desktop, then you can tell PMM to look for this shell.
An additional utility, PMMSPY, has been included.
